Alternate Gardening Personalities
It’s true, I have multiple personalities. Mostly for my business life… mostly.
It all started with my garden design business, which I consider my primary line of work. My work can be a full garden design and landscape installation, a garden design with step-by-step instructions for the do-it-yourselfer, to a garden consultation where I just give great design ideas and horticultural tips. I’ve been doing this since 2005 and I love it! I love making my Pacific Northwest a more beautiful and natural place one garden at a time and I love when my clients come home happy.

Which led me to needing office space (because I’m so easily distracted at home). I needed space to design and create and I found it in a crazy kooky antique dealer’s building, know as Sanford and Son Antiques. It worked! The space was perfect and people kept visiting me in my space and wondering what I sold. Hmmmm? Antiquers looking for antiques in my garden design office that has plenty of space… BINGO! The garden antique shop was born on the first day of spring, March 20th, 2010.
Urban Gardener Antiques
So here I am now. I have a new, bigger, better, brighter space in The Old Post Office District right next to the historic Murray Morgan Bridge. I’m open Thursdays, Fridays, and most Saturdays. I say most Saturdays, because I still work for the Sounders. Yup, third personality. I also do Christmas light installations, but I’ll save that personality for another post in another season. The rest of the week, in someone else’s garden transforming it into something they’ll be happy coming home to.
